A guarantee as engineered as our fabrication. No room for boilerplate.

01
Fit and function, or you owe nothing
If the rebuilt tool does not fit and function, you owe nothing, including the scanning and reverse-engineering work.
INCLUDES SCANNING
02
First failure: free replacement
If a tool fails in normal use within 60 days, we replace it free.
60-DAY
03
Second failure: full refund
If a replacement still does not make it right, we refund. The guarantee covers the service, not just the printed part.
FULL REFUND

The full ladder applies to higher-value rebuilds. Every order, at any value, carries the baseline: if a part is not right within 60 days we remake and replace it first, and refund if we cannot.

Four guarantees. Built into every job.

Slide through the guarantee, the claims process, the timeline we run against, and the selections behind every instant quote.

What's covered, what's not.

The 60-day make-it-right guarantee, in plain terms: if a delivered part misses the spec on your quote, we return or replace it at our cost, with no restocking fees and no RMA runaround. The full terms ship with every order and link from your quote. Here's exactly where it applies.

What's covered

Manufacturing defects
Layer separation, voids, warpage, surface artifacts, dimensional non-conformance beyond stated tolerance.
Spec non-conformance
Part doesn't match the geometry, material, color, or tolerance band quoted.
Material substitution
Wrong material delivered. Material lot documentation is available to verify what ran.
Shipping damage
Reported within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence. Carrier claim filed by us.

What's not

Customer-supplied CAD errors
Geometry errors in your uploaded file. We can quote a DfAM consult to catch these before print.
Misapplication
Use outside the material's documented temperature, chemical, or load envelope. Spec sheets are published.
Modification or damage post-delivery
Machining, drilling, exposure to fire, chemical etching after delivery.
Beyond 60 calendar days
Window starts on delivery confirmation. Extension available with extended warranty add-on at quote time.

Common questions.

What does the guarantee cover, and what doesn't it?

Within 60 days it covers parts that miss the spec on your quote: manufacturing defects, dimensional non-conformance, and material substitution, for commercial use inside the documented material envelope. It is not a satisfaction guarantee, and it does not cover customer-supplied CAD errors or use beyond the material's published thermal, chemical, or mechanical limits (there it covers the manufactured spec, not the application). Always reference the published material datasheet before specifying for end-use service; for preference-based concerns, contact the studio and we'll talk it through.

What if I caused the issue with my CAD?

Customer-supplied CAD errors aren't covered, but we'll review the file regardless. If we should have caught a manufacturability issue during DfAM review, we own that; the first call is always honest. Pre-print DfAM consulting is available as a separate service.

Can the 60-day window be extended?

Yes. An extended-warranty add-on is available at quote time for production work where parts may sit in inventory before going into service. Pricing scales with the extension period, quoted on a per-program basis.

What documentation and portal access come with an order?

Every order ships with a job card, its material lot reference, and a slicer config summary; dimensional checks are made against the acceptance criteria agreed in your quote, and B2B orders can add documented check records and a build-file retention notice. It stays with your archived build file, alongside quotes and line-by-line pricing, approvals (fabrication start is confirmed with your quote, on our one-business-day target), order status, and reorders that are typically the fastest path from your archived build file.

Who handles a claim?

Report from your portal order page or email the studio at the address on your shipping notification. A studio operator, not a support queue, owns every case. Contact details.

Do you offer scanning and reverse engineering, and who owns the files?

Yes. In-house scanning delivers a cleaned, print-ready mesh. Scan & Digitize has a reference starting amount of $150; its output, size, complexity, quantity, and service tier build the instant quote. The $75 scan base applies only as a bundled entry step inside reverse-engineering and fixture jobs. Reverse-Engineering Lite has a reference starting amount of $295 and includes the scan, editable CAD, and printed part, with Rush and Emergency tiers available. Engineering review confirms final scope and price. You own every scan mesh and CAD file we deliver, to keep, revise, and reuse anywhere; we archive build files under your job number so reorders are typically the fastest path from an approved file, or purge and return them instead if your IP policy requires.

Do you serve one-off parts and production the same way?

Both. The catalog carries retail designs alongside industrial tooling, and $0 tooling with no minimums means a single part is a welcome order. The same 60-day make-it-right guarantee applies at every scale.
